In our fast paced, technologically sophisticated

world they seem to be out of place.  For me

they slow things down.  They represent a link to

the past, yet they are an essential part of

today's world and tomorrow's.  They stand there

above us all, reaching into the sky with purpose

and precision, creating abstract shapes against

an empty space.
